Due to circumstances, I ended up with a beautifully hard bound verson of this book. I had the opportunity to compare the two (hardbound vs paperback). Even though it was a "spot check" comparison, it appeared the contents were the same down to the page numbers with the only differences being the collector's book had additional pages of checklists at the end and the last page was a Table of Contents - a "nice to know" before purchasing. The book was easy to follow and helpful. It would have been nice if the screen prints were a bit larger, but a very minor inconvenience. It is a book well done for those who like a walkthrough.

Honestly, I was surprised at how completely in depth this game guide was. The entire book was a complete walk through that included every single item, golden bug, piece of heart, and rupee chest you could happen upon in the game. As long as you have this guide from the start of the game, you'll be in amazing shape.However, god help you if you didn't, because figuring out WHERE the descriptions of where items are is pretty tricky. Most game guides have a small index in the back listing items, pieces of heart, and extra items and it tells you where to find them and what you'll need to get them. Not so in this book. It does have something like that for hearts but not for anything else, so you end up having to flip manically through the book to find which chapter you missed a golden bug or empty jar in. Although it's easy to find which chapter you might have missed it in, it can be hard to figure out WHERE in the chapter it's in, because it's not marked clearly in the text.So, although this is the most in depth and awesome game guide I've stumbled across, I'm still only gonna give it 4 stars for lack of "being able to find stuff".
