There are actually thicker Euro 5w-30 oils, but this is a thin 5w-30 for American and Asian cars. Well, I respect the experts, but for whatever reason the difference is so noticeable that I am not going back ever to minerals. This particular weight seems to work extraordinarily with all engines, from 4 to 8 cylinders. They love it and respond with a smooth start and run, and just as when I used it before, the engine from the oil cap to whatever you uncover is clean, so far not a trace of wear out (like oil consumption) and that makes me very happy.
