This just adds a nice extra amount of resistance and toning. They are thick and well-made. I use other bands in the pool, and those are thinner and tend to "roll" more, but these really stay put and stay flat well, which I love!

These are good bands, but best used around your thighs or knees. I bind my ankles to keep my legs together.
