I like the way that it's a rounded rectangle. I felt that this helped me to hit more accurately than I do with an oval shaped face. The paddle felt like an extension of my hand. The materials made the paddle very responsive, giving each hit a nice snap and spin. The grip is nice, but a little small. (I am a woman with smaller hands.) The only negative is that the grip is made of a slick. My hands get sweaty when I play awhile, especially on hot summer days. A few times, the paddle flew right out of my hand! I will need to replace the grips with something grippier.
