The one leak I have experienced so far (my own fault) was at the rear of the waistband, which was not completely covered by the plastic pants. Moisture had spread completely through the diaper. I had not noticed how much I was wetting and didn't change within a reasonable time. The diaper was not uncomfortable and the leak was minor. I began looking for a more effective diapering solution when I began to need three of the premium diapers per day instead of two. Replacing three premium diapers with six Tena Proskin saves $3.45 per day, which adds up to over $100.00 per month. On some days, five diaper changes are all I require. I had NOT been looking forward to switching to lower cost diapers. These were the third low-cost alternative to premium diapers I tried, and they were a happy surprise. I am a restless sleeper, going from back to sides throughout the night so found that a snug pull on diaper cover worked well to contain this diaper so it could do it's job, but I also added some long leg (bloomer style) waterproof pants to insure that my night movements don't allow for unexpected leaks.
