Review: Great rack, inaccurate instructions - This is a very well-built rack, rated to carry 27 kg, great value at this price. It is a bit heavy. The instructions are inaccurate so here's the beta: (1) Don't tighten anything down until it's all assembled. (2) Start with the bolts that go into your bike frame. These have to go in straight and smooth. You may want to use blue threadlocker on the forward/upper pair of bolts. (3) Attach the rack platform to the two side frames. At this point you may have to set the height adjustment shown but not described in step 5 of the instructions, so that the platform rides high enough to clear your wheel and to provide clearance if you have a light or radar unit to mount at the back. My bike has 29" wheels and I had to raise the height about an inch. (4) Carefully bend the mounting bracket arms to align with the rack platform and insert bolts so that the platform rides level. Note that you need 2 washers on each bolt to do this, due to the small size of the bolt heads. My kit was short one washer. (5) If everything looks good, go around and tighten all the bolts, starting with the ones that go into your bike frame. Don't go crazy, these are small bolts and don't need a lot of torque.

Parts appear to be high quality and powder coating should be a good deterent to rust. Various installation options are quite rare. I searched a long time to find it. Price was at least 50% less than other options that were even close to comprable. I often bike to grocery shop and the basket size is perfect for my insulated shopping bag. Haven't needed to use bungee cords, since it's plenty deep. Much easier to steer, with weight on the back instead of on handle bars. Love it!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product, terrible instructions

Good product thus far. Fits my cooler perfectly and seems to be mostly solid for how lightweight it is. Insrallation instructions are horrendous. I basically put it all together and then took it apart and redid it to adjust a few things. 1) my bike frame is wide so I mounted the side attachments on the outside of the top rack, rather than the inside like the instructions show. 2) to make it level, I needed to adjust the 2 pieces that mount to the frame under the seat. Order doesn't really matter, just know that you use the 2 big black screws to attach it to the frame by the wheel. The 4 medium screws attach the side panels to the top panel and the small screws are for everything else. Only use the long silver screw if you need the t bar adapter. That should help. Good luck, and don't let the poor installation I steuctions deter you from buying this product, once it's installed, seems good!
