It is gentle for all my unmentionables. I love the no rinsing needed when I am in a hurry but I do still prefer to rinse. Really nice fragrance. A bit expensive but you don't need to use much. I gave the second one to my boyfriend to encourage him to wash the shirts he doesn't "want to ruin" more. It seems to be working.
