Soon after I bought a Honda CBF1000 from 2008 and fitted the one I already had to it, and it works perfectly there too. It feels sturdy, mounting is easy, and the usage is even easier. You're still able to adjust the power slightly as you'll sometimes need one or two tries to get it to the right throttle amount for the needed speed because of elevation change or winds, but that is to be expected. In case of emergency, it's also loose enough to close the throttle, so it's never completely stuck. Bumps and vibrations don't seem to affect it, so you can easily let it stay on for extended periods of time (given no change in elevation and wind). Would surely recommend!
