It absorbs quickly without leaving residue, so makeup can be applied quickly and smoothly. Not sure how much it’s repairing, but I have no illusions about the hype. What I dislike is the intensely strong scent which is reminiscent of the “cold cream” products women used in the 60’s. Since I’m used to scent-free products, I find it quite strong. I always prefer scent-free products, so I will be looking for that feature in my search going forward. That being said, a little goes a long way, it’s a decent price for a good product, and I appreciate the tub since it’s evident when it’s running low.
