They are working on addressing the issue with the length of the receiver screw. It seems that my 590 is an older style which had a thicker receiver body, hence the need for a slightly longer screw.All in all this is a fantastic saddle! Having an extra 6 rounds at hand is a nice thing to have, especially with a home defense gun like this. It adds negligible weight, and really does nothing to change the balance of the gun in any shooting stance. The rounds are nicely kept at easy reach, but don't hinder the action or reloading of the weapon whatsoever.A+ for the design, and an extra A+ for the seller who wanted to contact me and work with me to make sure I was happy with the product!Also, if the screw for the receiver is too short, I was able to replace mine with one from a holster making kit that worked perfectly. This seems to be a problem with older 590s like mine.
