The freight carrier will call you first and schedule a delivery day so you do not have to worry about it randomly showing up when no one is home. **Q: Does the machine come already assembled or do I have to do it myself** A: The Body-Solid Leg Press and Hack Squat arrives unassembled in boxes on pallet via freight delivery. It would require assembly upon delivery. **Q: How expensive is it to keep the unit maintained? (I am thinking of using this in my PT sessions, so need it in pristine condition)** A: I haven't spent any money on maintaining this equipment. I usually just wipe it down when I am done using it. It works well. It was brought by a semi in 5 boxes and you need to be able to sign for it. It took 10 days. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hubby loves it! Works great. Hard to put together *by B***C on July 29, 2019* Solid construction. Well designed for a workout. Instructions for putting it together were crap. Make sure to use the enclosed instructions to measure the bolts. Online instructions were not to scale. Parts were not marked and bolts , nuts and washers came jumbled up together in a bag. Several stages were included on each page which should have had more pages and better resolution of detail. I ended up taking apart half of page 1 in order to accomplish stage 4. On page three is when you install the press into the side rails. This is not made clear at all. And the center beam at the end is in the way. I took this apart more than I put it together. I am semi-pro at building and these were the second worst instructions I have ever seen. A couple of bolts were inside the press and were impossible to tighten without an 18mm crescent wrench, which I had to purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Machine *by J***V on March 11, 2023* Great for the price. Solid feel, well constructed, great addition to our home gym, very happy. This was an easy build, just under 3 hours by myself. As others have noted, sort screws/washers first and label. Only complaint would be a longer seat.Others are selling the exact same machine just under a different product name. Tried buying from another Seller first. After 2 weeks of excuses I cancelled. I ordered this one from Gronk Fitness, within 24 hrs they reached out for some additional info and was shipped. Great Customer service. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good machine....sled bottoms out early if you are super short. *by J***M on March 20, 2015* Good machine. Has multiple angles in the back rest and foot plate. Can be switched into hack squat from incline leg press pretty simply. If you are using the leg press the stops at the bottom are a little high so the sled bottoms out early....not a problem unless you are super short. We will have to order a second back rest cushion in order to keep from bottoming out. I took a star off for that reason and for the sketchy assembly instructions. The stops on the side have no handle which is a little annoying. You must just flip the entire bar using the bar. Most machines at your local gym have handles so I was a little disappointed in that aspect. Takes two people to put together or one person with 4 arms...lol. Weights are not included which we were prepared for.
