The Le Creuset set far surpasses the others. They are heavier, VERY smooth, and are shaped beautifully—so they stay put on the countertop, ingredients slide out easily and entirely; the bowl and the handle of each cup is one continuous piece of metal with NO seams or rivets, thus making cleaning easy, eliminating places for crud to get trapped, or promoting of rust; the size of the cup is embossed clearly into the metal handle making them easy to read; they are lustrous—making them a very handsome set; finally, though the 2 cup vessel is broader than the 1 cup vessel, the cups nest inside each other very compactly. I would put them on a level of high grade surgical tools (I have personal experience with such tools). The stainless steel weight of 18/10 is premium. These batch cups are great because they are the sizes often called for in recipes such as cookies, some you’d use if doubling a recipe—so no math needed. My only complaint is that I wish they had an 1/8 cup size. I contacted the company about producing a 1/8 cup—they responded quickly and stated that they would review the request. Though pricey, I have never regretted getting either set. QUALITY all the way. The only downside is that I’m now spoiled, and HATE using other people’s cups when baking or cooking at their house. First the regular one, half, third and fourth and the odd batch size two, 1.5, 2/3, 3/4: the two sets nest into each other, eight total, highly sturdy, intelligently engineered. All curves so when you scoop out the ingredients, they depart cleanly. No rough spots. They take liquids as well such as hot molasses I use in oatmeal molasses bread. Hole in lid for hanging - measurement deeply stamped for clarity. My favorite part is when you nest and fan out, it is clear and easy to locate and separate the cup you want. And of course dishwasher safe.
