If you constantly have cold feet, these will be great for you. They are thick and sturdy. The inside is a very thick wooly material and the insole feels like memory foam. The bottom of the slipper is rigid which I like because I wear them when I take my dog out in the back yard at night. My feet tend to get sweaty, so I don't wear them for long in the house. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe. I purchased the 7-8. They fit nice and snug with a sock on. My foot feels well supported, these are not floppy slippers. They hold their structure and support my feet. These will be great for someone with either super cold feet or that needs something for a quick outside trip to the yard or to get the newspaper.
