The drainage layer at the bottom absorbs any water that might run off a wet bar of soap. Next stop soap is dry, not mushy! The silicon material means it is very unlikely to break if you drop it, unlike a hard plastic case.

Silicone is a great choice for the bathroom & shower, and it’s a better option than plastic because it’s more durable/ mold resistant. There is a lot of room for soap, and it’s not hard to clean. It’s easy to use and to open/ shut the lid. The price is decent. However, it’s more big and bulky than expected fyi in case you’re going to use it for travel.
