It instantly powered up and works as expected! I would have loved this to be included with the access point but I get it, I should invest in a proper POE+ switch, but the price is quite something and these are easier to move about. But I do lose the ability to add multiple access points to the same POE+ adapter..oh well.. Its a great product and until that day comes I might just buy another one for my next ap. Review: works well, doesn't limit speed. - Just connected and worked, replacing the original which I dropped. My only comment (and loses 1 star as a result) would be the power cable is a bit overkill given the actual amount of power it uses, which makes the whole setup a bit bulky.
