You only hear the air movement, not any vibration from the fan Plenty of power. I can tell this is moving a lot of air, which is good, as I intend to use it to improve air circulation in a terrarium. Uses a standard A/C wall plug (US type). This is nice as most fans like these seem to be made to plug into a computer's PSU or etc. For my application, I was really wanting one like this. Con: I wish I had a speed controller for this.
