Review: Nice fit and finish - Edited 9/3/2019: I just received these but tested one and did a mock installation to see if they'll work for my application. Looks like a perfect solution for the lighting under my overhead peninsula cabinets. They have a solid feel and very sturdy retainer sprigs that center them in a 2-1/4" hole and holds them securely in a 3/16" thick trim panel under the cabinets. The flange is adequate to hide any small splintering that may occur when cutting the hole. They are very low profile so they fit in the trim panel with a 1/4" or so clearance above them to the cabinet bottom. They have a slightly textured finish that will be easy to clean but probably won't show smudges. Brightness and color are very pleasant. So far, I'm impressed. New info Added comments: I liked these enough to modify my kitchen lighting plan and installed a total of 16 of these. I pre-wired the kitchen for low voltage accent lighting from a common 12 VDC power supply. I tested them and 100 percent worked out of the box. They give a very pleasant light and positioned at about 20" above the counter and about 12" apart, they light the countertop very nicely. Very good quality and performance, and easy to install.

**Q: Would this light be bright enough for my rv shower and are they waterproof?**
A: Yes they are super bright as far as waterproof they are 12 V and the only connection is at the end of the wire lead.

As we know LED lights have a long long long lifespan D frosted lens and the outer beauty ring detach from the unit.

I would see no harm with putting a bead of silicone on the threads to make it waterproof and you do have to remember you are not going to be putting water directly on the unit and a little bit of splash out in my opinion will not hurt.

**Q: if you remove the clip what is the actual diameter of the part that recesses into the ceiling?**
A: If I’m not mistaken I think I used an inch and a half holesaw for the cutting of my ceiling.

The actual clips you can physically bend out a little bit for more of a snug fit

A: No this product would not work on 24v,

A: For a very short period of time. Power gets stepped down easily but not up. If you want to run them on a 12v system a cheap 24v - 12v step down transformer would be your best option. If your worried about power consumption (off grid/ even dry camp) then getting 24v ones is a better option.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome RV find!

This product is pretty awesome, other than me having an issue with one of the 6 lights, it was still an awesome purchase! Con: one of the lights wouldn’t turn off and remained on 100% brightness, remote would not work on this specific light and unfortunately due to being in a rv there was not a light switch. We tried taking it off and reinstalling again but the issue remained. Pro: if you’re in a RV you know the yellowish lights are horrendous to look at it and not necessarily a lot of light. This product offers a modern exterior look, completely flush, has a remote which controls brightness and the 3 color options of daylight and bright white. I plan to purchase another set in the future for our toy hauler room, fingers crossed I don’t have the same issue again!
