Speaking as an AllClad owner for the last 30 years, I feel that they are superior in quality. The lid is double walled and has a professional heavier weight and feel, as does the pan itself. The handles are easy on the hands. And don't get me started on how beautiful these pans are. The top handle itself is perfectly designed to be simple to use and a gorgeous sculptural part of the pan. I use the Caraway steamer with this pan, and it fits perfectly. This line has elevated my kitchen. Don't hesitate to purchase.
