**Q: suitable for wool? Sounds obvious? but stranger things.**
A: I found this product excellent for all
 Dark colours especially black any temperature
  from cottons to wool and cashmere

**Q: Does the new version have more liquid consistency? Mine is like water, while it was more like gel in in the past...**
A: Yes this one very different from previous. Dark purple iridescent colour and watery?  Not sure I don’t prefer original which I have still bought in Waitrose!

**Q: Is this bio or non-bio? Websites like mumsnet say its non-bio, but its listed elsewhere on Amazon as bio. Nothing harmful, but does it have enzymes?**

Just started using this. Great for denims and noticeable less fading and colour running I’ve noticed.No strong smell or irritation when handling thick consistency and a little goes a long way. Well packaged and leak proof and smells pleasant.
