The pieces fit if lightly sanded as instructed. The quality of this little articulated model is top notch. I will mount my model in a shadow box with a glass face. It's a great conversation piece! Ultimately though, it was just as fun to assemble, and ends up having having that very cute, intricate feel in the mold of a Faberge egg.

Nice little model of a old-style tower clock, like many seen in. Europe. And it is articulated - move the main gear with your finger and all the gears turn! I chose to paint the main visible pieces with acrylic craft paint in white, black and shades of gray. I also chose to omit the little characters, as cute as they may be. See the results! The instructions are IKEA-like illustrations, so they are simple to follow. The pieces fit if lightly sanded as instructed. The quality of this little articulated model is top notch. I will mount my model in a shadow box with a glass face. It's a great conversation piece! Well worth the $15 price tag for a nostalgic nik-nak!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ UGEARS Vintage Alarm Desk Clock 3D Puzzle, Wooden Mechanical Model Building Toy Kit for Adults DIY

This is a very cute and fun little wooden puzzle. It is really tiny but also really easy and perfect for beginners. My only real issues with it are the fact that it didn't come with any sanding paper (which is needed) and that the pieces are pretty thick and a little hard to remove from their holders, more so the smaller ones. And while I didn't have any break I did have a couple that had small chips along the edges. It definitely would have been nice had they been a little easier to remove but the quality of the wood was great and not at all cheap like other wooden puzzles I've bought. Since this contains lots of "gears" there was also lots of waxing which was a little tedious but needs to be done. Overall it was a fun way to spend an hour or so and I had to put a little muscle into certain pieces that did not want to go on easily, but I'm very happy with the results and will absolutely be purchasing more products from UGEARS... =)
