It fits nicely over my riding hat and doesn't affect visibility as it sticks out enough allowing me to use its features. It works perfect in the front giving the brightness I need plus it has a red light at the back which is perfect to be seen from my helmet from the back.One thing to be aware though is that it comes with rechargeable batteries but you have to have a charger! there is no cable provided. The only way is to take the batts out and charge them separately. I am not bothered as I am well equiped but I marked it down 1 star as someone else will easily have missed this point as I did.Other than that excellent light for the price.
