Questo provoca una diminuzione della capacità e un aumento della tensione, che durante il funzionamento può indurre in errore le centraline segnalando guasto il regolatore di tensione/carica per sovratensione. Il desolfatore funziona bene, purchè ben collegato ai morsetti della batteria e si autoalimenta dalla stessa. I tempi di recupero sono lunghi e dipendono dal grado di solfatazione, e dalla capacità della batteria, per esperienza personale ho ottenuto risultati in 4 settimane. Sarebbe auspicabile un foglio istruzioni con le caratteristiche tecniche e due morsetti a corredo. Nel mio caso ha recuperato la batteria di un trattorino Honda che andava continuamente in protezione in 25 gg. Mi avevano proposto la sostituzione del regolatore ( che invece funziona ) a cui sarebbe seguita la batteria, con il desolfatore ho recuperato la batteria con un bel risparmio.
