**Q: Is this oil used for inboard Mercruiser?**
A: Castrol does not recommend using passenger car engine oils like Castrol GTX High Mileage 10W-30 in marine applications.

At this time, Castrol does NOT offer 4-stroke marine oil or NMMA certified engine oil therefore Castrol GTX High Mileage 10W-30 would NOT be recommended for use in a Mercruiser Inboard.

**Q: Can I use this oil in my zero turn mower john deere says 10W-30**
A: This is a blended half synthetic, if your engine requires 10W 30 this will work.
The purely synthetic oil is very thin and can find a leak in machinery very quickly.
This in my 95 YJ has performed well.

**Q: For the 10w30 synthetic blend or semi synthetic blend do you have to use a regular oil filter or synthetic oil filter?**
A: regular oil filter
