I bought without doing so after reading that such an adapter was part of the kit, but it's not, so one star off for telling porkies. So it'll be 24hr before I can actually try the thing out, which is an irritation, but the physical quality looks good, and it came extremely securely packaged, in three layers of cardboard boxes.
