But I did not expect a recipe book to be in the kit! And not only is it a recipe book, but it has step by step instructions and details on what to look for, how to trouble shoot, how long it can last in the fridge, and freezer, and how to thaw it back out after. This is absolutely perfect for a hobby baker just looking to have fun with, or even to have fun with your kids. Thank you so much!!
Review: Makes your cake look so professional - My first attempt and the cake turned out exactly as described. I was thrilled with the results. Hint: Read the added notes under the main directions, they really help! The ganache was too thick on the cake for me personally (used the recipe on Frost Form's website) however it tasted delicious! The cake can be a max of 6" high with the form (I thought it would be higher as the description says the form is 10"x10"x10") but my pictures are a two-layer cake and I could have added a third, so it is enough for me. I do plan on using my Frost Form again and again. Next time I will try the buttercream recipe.

I love this! I’ve made some incredibly cute cakes and this has made the process so much easier. I know some people think it’s cheating to frost the cake this way but as a busy mom of 4…. I’ll take whatever shortcuts I can get. Besides the decorating is the best part and I’d much rather be doing that. As far as durability goes, the frost form kit that you order from the company directly is far superior because it’s made with better quality components Vs in this kit they are not as well made. Nevertheless, if you were wanting to try a less expensive version of frost form, I’d highly recommend starting with this kit so you can save money and make sure you enjoy using it. The kits on their site average about $100. Therefore making this a better value for the money. I wish more of these were available in this price range because I’d own them all by now. If you like decorating cake… give it a try!
