However you will need to thin it down a bit, but not too much. Usually about 10 - 15%, but do it in increments. Fill the container to 700ml, add 10% water (70ml) & mix well. If it still looks too thick, add the remaining 5% a bit at a time. This should be enough, but it obviously depends on the paint used & you can always add a bit more if necessary. Cheers Jock ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight but effective *by D***N on 6 July 2021* I have only used the Terratek to paint some bookcase unit doors using acrylic undercoat and and eggshell finish so far. I have not used the sprayer with any oil based product yet. My experience was as follows. Pros - The spray goes on smoothly and with no stutter. Easy to use and clean Inepensive Cons - Very loud Hose is short and could be more flexible. Short power lead Conclusion. An excellent spray unit for the occasional DIY job.
