Review: Proadsy sun shade is a work of greatness for the 2018 Honda HR-V - It's a shame the sham that desertcart has become, with so many products claiming to be something but falling far short of meeting their false claims. However, if you keep sending products back to desertcart that don't live up to the false claims advertised about them, eventually you're bound to get lucky to finally find a product that absolutely lives up to their claims. Such is the case with the Poadsy window shade. It claimed to be designed to fit the Honda HR-V, and it absolutely lives up to those claims perfectly. It covers my windshield entirely from sise to side, top to bottom, and corner to corner. Additionally, the spring steel frame is of a sturdier more beefy quality than the others I've tried, and the shade materials appears to be thicker too. Bearing those details in mind, the frame will pop open a tad bit more aggressively, and it's marginally more difficult to fold down to its collapsed form. However, don't view a thicker spring steel frame as a con, as the thicker spring steel insures a longer service life without weakening, plus the additional benefit of it holding its form and position without requiring the sun visors to be flapped down and forward to prevent it from falling down. The Proadsy sun shade supports itself in place, and it stays in position on its own. See photos with and without the use of the sun visors. The proadsy shade material is of high quality too. One side of the shade is a reflective silver color to face outward against the windshield, while the other side is black to face the interior. Never settle for paying for something that doesn't live up to its advertising claims, let alone settle for the attude of "It's good enough" or "It works ok"; Strive for greatness in and with all you do and get. The Proadsy is a work of GREATNESS, living up to its promises! I'm very, very satisfied and impressed with the Proadsy sun shade, and I can highly recommend it for you and others. ## Features - CUSTOM-CUT Prius COVERAGE: Designed for Toyota Prius owners who want a windshield shade shaped for the front glass, this custom-cut design uses reinforced steel rings for a more secure fit without suction cups. - MADE FOR DAILY HOT-WEATHER PARKING: Whether you commute, leave your vehicle outside at work, or park in open lots during summer errands, the silver-coated windshield shade is positioned to reflect heat and help reduce cabin heat buildup while also helping block UV exposure. - DOUBLE-LAYER BUILD WITH MATERIAL EVIDENCE: Built with premium 240T reflective polyester, high-quality fabric, and reinforced steel rings/bezel, the double-layer construction adds insulation support while the fabric is described as less prone to wrinkling. - FOLDS FOR COMPACT STORAGE: The lightweight foldable design is intended for quick pop-up and fold-down use, then stores compactly in a door pocket to support everyday use; for best results, fold carefully around mirrors, screens, or dash accessories if your setup is tight. - BUILT TO FEEL READY FOR REPEAT USE: Proadsy pairs the custom-cut shape, reinforced steel bezel, and compact storage-friendly format to deliver a windshield shade focused on coverage, everyday convenience, and a more structured feel for Toyota Prius accessories shoppers. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CNT5M85J | | Automotive Fit Type | Vehicle Specific Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | #227 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #12 in Automotive Windshield Sunshades | | Brand | Proadsy | | Brand Name | Proadsy | | Closure Type | Roll Up | | Color | Black & Silver | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | 2016-2022 Toyota Prius | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 19,485 Reviews | | Included Components | Windshield Sunshade，bag | | Item Highlight | 240T Heat Shield, Drops Temp 54°F, Blocks 99% UV, Prevents Dashboard Cracking, Summer Parking & Beach Trips, Easy Twist-Fold Item Highlight 240T Heat Shield, Drops Temp 54°F, Blocks 99% UV, Prevents Dashboard Cracking, Summer Parking & Beach Trips, Easy Twist-Fold See more | | Manufacturer | Proadsy | | Manufacturer Part Number | PRS307 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 1 | | Material | Polyester | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model Number | PRS307 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Vehicle Service Type | 2016-2022 Toyota Prius | ## Product Details - **Automotive Fit Type:** Vehicle Specific Fit - **Brand:** Proadsy - **Color:** Black & Silver - **Material:** Polyester - **Vehicle Service Type:** 2016-2022 Toyota Prius ## Images ![Proadsy Custom Fit 2016-2022 Toyota Prius Windshield Sun Shade, Blocks Heat - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Pl-nz5KNL.jpg) ![Proadsy Custom Fit 2016-2022 Toyota Prius Windshield Sun Shade, Blocks Heat - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/712CqQqfkRL.jpg) ![Proadsy Custom Fit 2016-2022 Toyota Prius Windshield Sun Shade, Blocks Heat - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/710YUR6JsRL.jpg) ![Proadsy Custom Fit 2016-2022 Toyota Prius Windshield Sun Shade, Blocks Heat - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71WmwBP+xzL.jpg) ![Proadsy Custom Fit 2016-2022 Toyota Prius Windshield Sun Shade, Blocks Heat - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71DeLSO5DiL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why is a Proadsy custom Windshield Sunshades better?** A: Proadsy custom sunshade can solve the trouble of looking for a suitable sun shade, as it is made to fit your specific make and model of car. It reflects the sun with the foil front and a matt black back. It really made a difference in the temperature of my car at the end of a hot day in the sun. It mat hes the dimensions of my window perfectly. There is barely any light coming thru the crevices. Super easy to get in and out of the window. I would definitely purchase this item again. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/598538195-proadsy-custom-fit-2016-2022-toyota-prius-windshield-sun-shade](https://www.desertcart.us/products/598538195-proadsy-custom-fit-2016-2022-toyota-prius-windshield-sun-shade) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
