What a great idea! These really make the deck pop. They are a lot easier than painting the posts white and having all that maintenance. They are easy to cut, but suggest holding them down or clamping them down and using a circular saw slowly. They are heavy duty, but do not have the same weight as a block of wood. That’s my only caution, be careful when you cut them.
