The filling says β€œdown alternative” which is 85% duck feathers and 15% polyester mix. Compared to my feather pillow, which is 85% duck feathers and 15% down, it is not quite as soft or squishy, but it’s still superior to non-feather pillows and still squishes into shape pretty well - I’d say it is just a bit firmer than an all feather pillow. I have noticed a few of the feathers have been able to work their way out of the casing, but not many. The casing itself feels well made and the material is very soft to the touch.
