**Q: I will be using it to raise and lower the boat dock. Does it have the motion for clockwise and anti clockwise?**
A: Both clockwise and counter clockwise, yes!
I used a drum switch controller on each of the two motors for my boat lift.

**Q: How do I connect a switch to get the lift up and down?**
A: I used a separate drum controller for each of which there are many available. The connections can be a bit challenging and may take an electrician if you're not qualified.

**Q: I'd like to buy a 3/4 hp electric motor. Is this one recommended?**
A: It's not just about horsepower,must ensure that the installation size, performance, output voltage, etc. and your machine is appropriate, otherwise it can not start working

**Q: What is the mounting size of the motor bolt hole?**
A: The size of the motor bolt hole is 3/8-16
