Glass and Ceramic were great for some of this and Stainless good for some, but this gave me the best of both worlds. I've put espresso in this as well as green smoothies. I'm able to put water or a soda stream drink in here without any carryover tastes. As well the silicone sleeve on this is very form fitting and has drip holes on the bottom just in case any water does get in it. There was a lot of thoughtfulness and intention put into the design this cup. Though the cup itself was what I was really looking for. The only thing I wish I could get an upgrade on is the lid. This isn't intended to be a spill proof bottle, so the lid really does do a good job. Though I'd love to be able to buy a separate lid with the same material as the cup with a silicone seal, especially if it had some type of auto sealing button like the Contigo bottles do.
