I was worried about the damage to the door frame since we rent our house but once we installed them, it’s super easy to do so with minimal damage. There’s no wear on the doors or frame from opening and closing. If anything, there will be a few small holes on the inside of the door frame when we remove the lock but it’s hardly noticeable. This is definitely worth the purchase. I don’t know how we functioned without the prior.
