Die Platte, in die der Haken der Kindersicherung einhaken soll, hat eine Größe von 45 x 25 x 7 mm, sodass der 10 mm breite Haken auf einer Fläche von 40 mm einhaken kann. Die Platte selbst ist mit einem mit ‚3M‘ markierten Klebestreifen versehen. Um diese Platte alternativ anschrauben zu können ist sie mit zwei Vorbohrungen versehen. Das Gegenstück enthält keine Vorbohrungen, sondern lediglich den Klebestreifen. Die Maße sind: 40 x 35 mm und 40 mm Höhe. Um die Sicherungen ausrasten zu lassen wird ein runder Magnet mitgeliefert, der eine eigene anklebbare runde Aufnahmeplatte mitbringt, um dem Magneten bei Nichtnutzung zu ‚parken‘.Funktionsweise:Generell ist es etwas schwierig derlei Kindersicherungen an der richtigen Stelle anzubringen, schließlich müssen die Komponenten innenliegend der Schublade so angebracht werden, dass der Haken an der richtigen Stelle greift.
