Clean smell and just the right amount of wetness. Easily removed the build up of discharge wax. Not cheap but seem worth the expense. My only problem is just how small these are for medium to large dogs. The pad just about covers the end of your finger when cleaning the inside of the ear and because it is so small it can easily get left behind in the ear.
