Review: Great Cover - When Used Properly - I was getting tired of the kids not covering their food in the microwave. The splatters would eventually cause the waveguide covers to become defect due to carbonization of grease which causes arcing. So I wanted something that could live in the microwave and would be there every time the door was opened to use it. It works well, and is easy to clean. Definitely worth the price. As others have said, the handle is a bit small and hard to grip. But, it's not terribly bad. One thing I did notice from some reviewers, is that some people are, for some reason, using this thing as some sort of bowl to place things inside in the microwave. And some people are actually placing things on top of this thing as well like a platform. You cannot do this. The materials this is made of cannot withstand concentrated heat like that. If you do these things you will destroy it! So be aware, it is a cover. Not a platform. And not a bowl.

I was getting tired of the kids not covering their food in the microwave.
