She's very fearful of anyone messing around near those patchy areas, but she didn't flinch at all when I gently brushed over them with our new brush. LOL ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best grooming & massage tool for horses *by R***A on August 3, 2023* I've been using the StripHair Gentle Groomer for years! It is my MAIN grooming tool, and I use it in place of brushes and curries. I've recently been learning equine massage principles to use on my own horses, and I have realized that there are many things I do for basic grooming that are already considered massage. The therapeutic benefits of the StripHair have always been something I've known about, but learning more about that side of it has been very cool. I'm so glad my horses have been benefiting from the StripHair all these years even without me totally understanding what I was doing! Other features I love are how it fits in my pocket, cleans up instantly, and is comfortable for use on all parts of the body, including the bony parts of the leg. It works incredibly well for shedding season, and removes loose hair and dirt all year! I also notice my horses are immediately shinier after using just the StripHair for a quick groom - I start with using the edge, then finish with a swipe of the diamonds. I also use it as my squeegee for bath time, after using it to scrub off any dirty spots. There's nothing else that has as many benefits, and even if you only used this tool for massage it would be well worth the cost. I am keeping one in my trailer, truck and barn. They work very well for cleaning pet hair off carpet, upholstery, and saddle pads too (especially for cleaning up the car). They last forever, as far as I can tell, and only after many years of lots of use have I noticed a very slight dulling of the edge - but it still works just fine!
