After getting sick twice within a month or two at the beginning of the school year and having to miss a trip because of it, I was ready to declare war on respiratory illnesses. I started using this spray whenever I was going to be close to a lot of people for more than a few minutes (like at church). I also started taking zinc, vitamin D, and sometimes Elderberry or garlic 1-2 times per day at the tiniest sign I might be coming down with something. It's now April, and I haven't gotten sick again. I think the spray has allowed fewer viruses to get in, and the supplements have taken care of what escapes the spray and tries to start an infection. I keep the bottle in my purse so I'm less likely to forget to use it. The greasy/slippery feel of it is not overwhelming and is actually kind of nice during the dry winter months. You're not supposed to breathe it in (it's only supposed to coat the insides of your nostrils), but when I do happen to have some go down my throat, it does not taste good. That said, the taste is not nearly as bad as my decongestant nasal spray. Also, of note, the bottle says to spray every 4 hours, but the description says it lasts up to 8 hours. I don't know how those statements can be reconciled.
