It’s is light weight but high density with a strong adhesive and a very strong but flexible fiberglass and foil backing. It’s not super flexible but just enough to make it easy to install. Virtually no smell and has excellent sound dampening and thermal properties. I am definitely buying more.

I used this around my window Air Conditioning unit to minimize street noise. Sealing all the small air gaps. This sheet material is easy to work with. Measure, cut, test fit, adjust with utility knife or scissors, peal backing ant fit.
