Talley rings are the best mount for a scope in my experience. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Throw your stock Tikka rings in the trash and get these!!!! *by B***N on November 10, 2017* These mounts saved me just before whitetail season. The stock Tikka T3 mounts are known for letting a scope slide, especially on the larger caliber rifles. In the case of my 300wsm, this was a major problem and it was happening. Just about every forum recommended these rings so I picked up a pair of LOW and MEDIUM rings. The low is supposed to be .400 according to Talley. I measured about .480 on the stock ones from Tikka. These arrived in perfect condition and are extremely light. The fasteners are nice as well. These mounted up perfectly and my scope has not moved in the 40 rounds I immediately put through it for testing. If I could recommend anything, perhaps include a small batch of blue Loctite? I did put a small drop on ALL fasteners once I got everything where I liked it. You cannot go wrong with these rings. Worth every penny. A picture is worth a 1000 words here.... The low mounts work perfect with a scope cap on a 42mm scope.
