On the picture it actually looks like it goeas over the corner of the door. My metal back door with too many windows for comfort won't let me just put up a regular curtain rod without actual drilling so I think I got a little too happy when I saw these. So hopefully I can help prevent someone else from doing the same if you also look and think it actually fits on the corners of the door.I do have molding around my windows in the door so I did attempt to just go ahead and use it in it's made for use. I tried to just slide it on but it wouldn't just slide on. I just tapped the side and the top. The curtains I put up are heavy and lined and they are staying put. They are in a room that I don't open and close the curtains often though. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I did ding the molding while tapping it in not with the hammer but the actual hardware. If we're a little more careful I probably would have prevented that.
