Fill the grid and then leave approximately a 10mm dressing of 6 to 10mm angular gravel over the surface and you will have no problems with wheel ruts **Q: Advert says it 800mm wide but detail states its 60cm wide - which is it please? Is the other dimension definitely 40cm?** A: They state a 1.8m long by 800mm path can be created from each pack. This would suggest laying 2 strips of 400mm wide next to each other and which would give you 3 sections of 600mm long from each pack (hence 1.8 by 800mm path in the description). **Q: Can they be cut to go around obstacles?** A: I personally have not tried cutting them as I have had no need to. However I would think any success would depend on how elaborate the cutout needed to be. If I needed to cut one I would probably look at using something like sharp secateurs and cut down vertically one cell wall at a time. I don't think using something like a saw would be either successful or particularly easy.PS Though I didn't even think about using a jigsaw. Doh! **Q: Can Corepath be trimmed to form a curved path?** A: Corepath can be cut easily - it just takes time and patience. There is no reason why you couldn't produce elaborate designs. My experience is that cutting disturbes the attached weed barrier and I had to put a separate layer of weed fabric under before covering in gravel. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work very well. *by K***P on 6 June 2020* These work very well. Easy to cut to size/shape. They are very light and may seem a little flimsy, but are sting with weight applied on top of them. But then bend easily which means your ground does not have to be perfectly flat. Importantly, they are not very deep, which means you need much less gravel/stones to cover a large area. They are not cheap, but worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good kit *by B***N on 9 April 2020* Really please with these. Used to make a gravel pathway in my garden. They are good quality, they connect together easily and including a weed barrier on each is useful. I used some stakes to hold each in place which helped and filled them up with gravel. Nice let, just ordered three more packs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Produces a gravel path with very little movement *by R***T on 25 February 2017* This has made a big difference to an existing gravel path which we used to take the wheelie bins out. Previously it felt like you were dragging the bins across a beach whereas now it is extremely easy.Definitely needs a decent flat surface underneath and then it is extremely easy to lay them. I cut the plastic with a Stanley knife without any trouble.I do feel it is a little bit pricey, however I'll be buying some more for a second pathway. ## Frequently Bought Together - CORE PATH Gravel Stabiliser Kit with Attached Membrane ideal for Patios, Pedestrian Pathways and Wheelchair access | 6pack [400mm x 575mm x 18mm 1.38m²] - ANSIO Weed Membrane Pegs 100 Pack - 6 Inch/150mm U-Shaped Garden Pegs for Weed Control Membrane, Ground Pegs for Securing Lawn, Artificial Grass, Matting, and Netting - Galvanized Staples and Pins - CORE EDGE Lawn Edging | Flexible Decorative Steel Edging Garden Border Edging Lawn Edging Strip Garden Border with a 65mm face height (Corten) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/59231294-gravel-stabiliser-kit-with-attached-membrane-ideal-for-patios-pedestrian](https://www.desertcart.us/products/59231294-gravel-stabiliser-kit-with-attached-membrane-ideal-for-patios-pedestrian) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
