Sonic art is incredible and I'm looking forward to making wall mounts for these things. Fires great. Fun to play with. Eye-protection suggested for everybody - not just kids. Included X-Shot darts are more consistent & accurate than Nerf's Elite 2.0 darts fired from the same blaster. Pull back the slide to prime the blaster, pull the trigger to fire. Can be slam fired. Trigger is pretty smooth. Slide feels amazing to pull back, but I'm a decently strong adult - young kid had trouble, had to hold it like he was opening a back of chips, has to use all of his strength to prime the thing. Maybe this review is more about how my kid needs to eat more meat, than any issue with the blaster itself? Secondary trigger releases the cylinders. Does not automatically seat the next cylinder like the similar looking Nerf thing does - you have to manually pop it into place (with a very satisfying snap, so it's more than fine), technically could be seated with a flick of the wrist, but it's not easy. Handles feel a bit hollow, blaster are front heavy, "safety" is fake/painted-on, enclosed handle could be a deal breaker for some grown-ups, but adds good rigidity to the whole package - nothing squeaks, whole thing feels solid.
