These drills are everything they claim to be. After destroying 3 drill bits from the local hardware store, I bought these. They chewed right through a hardened steel automotive bolt that I had previously sheared the head off of. Because they are quite hard themselves, you must start with a smooth drilling surface. If you don't, the chatter can cause the bit to chip, or even break. (hard=brittle) I couldn't be more pleased with these bits. Slow controlled speed, and plenty of cutting paste will get the job done.

     I used TTP drills to drill a harden starter bolt out of block.  I used 3 sizes and all cut into the bolt.  I was then able to easy out the bolt threads.  Thank You TTP.
