If you are looking for a professional router, with different collet sizes, powerful and versatile, handles superbly and is heavy, then this is it. What I did not check was the fact that this works on the 15 amp socket and not 5 and that's a problem. We don't have too many outlets and that becomes an issue The unit is heavy no doubt and while that is good in a way, plunging the router down and getting it up is a task. There is no fine tuning and so you have to struggle to get the depth right It unfortunately did not come with any bits and so one needs to get those separately. Having a choice of 6mm to 8mm is great. Unlike a palm router, she's not that easy to handle and certainly not in one hand. What I like is the fact that it feels like you are flying a fighter jet with the control setup and having a toggle for speed is just perfect. Overall, if you are looking at something from small to big projects, with adaptability of sizes, powerful and heavy duty, then this is it.
