Review: Good product but not as good as alcohol based stains - I think the product is great but it didn’t work great for my application. Unfortunately the water based stains are inferior to their alcohol based ones but said stains are very difficult to get in Canada. I used this on car seats that were prepared properly but no matter what I did I could not get an even finish

**Q: Does this cover like paint or more likr stain leaving a blotchy appearance**
A: I did not find that it was like a paint.It was more like a stain however it did not leave a blotchy look.I did find that like most dyes i have used it will look a bit blotchy if brushed on to leather where your brush or sponge strokes overlapped unless you really put it on heavy.I spray mine on with really good smooth results.I will spray it on in light coats until i get the level of darkness i want.I use the automotive type sprayer with the glass jar.Oreilly auto parts has them where i live.Has the jar with the compressed air can that screws on top.Works great.

I think the product is great but it didn’t work great for my application.
