Regardless, I used it for the sample and hoped for the best when packing it into a bag. I can confirm it did not leak at all, something I'm sure can be agreed was of the utmost importance due to its contents. The sample was in perfect condition and allowed the doctor to carry out the necessary tests. I was sad to throw it away because it seemed a handy little pot. A: I'm not exactly sure of the type of plastic, but I bought these because if was advertised as being from the type of plastic (BPA free) that doesn't contaminate food.
