I'm 36" waist and 5'8", 175 lbs, and medium fits perfectly snug around legs and waist as it should. Bike shorts are meant to fit tight. If you prefer a looser fit get a large, but I would recommend against it. **Q: Hello Iā€™m 6ā€™6 and weigh 245 lbs, but wear a 36 waist. What size would you recommend?** A: 6ft, 240lbs and Large fits great, even despite some girth in the quads.
