The back pillows attached to the bottom ones with Velcro and each bottom pillow comes with a nonslip material to place under them and that helps keep them in place (see pictures) The dining table is beautiful as well and it's very well constructed! We've been getting nothing but compliments about the whole set! I am in love with this furniture set! it's well worth the money we paid for it! I highly recommend it!
