A bench lamp would be best for me.** A: I have used it with a lamp holder which you will find if you search for Explosion-proof Lampshade Ceramic Lamp Holder Dome Durable Reptile Safe E27 300W. Unfortunately at the time Amazon was unable to supply such an item but I found it elsewhere. **Q: What type of lamp/unit is this best used in please?** A: It is a UV lamp for therapy and it gets hot. It should be used as per the instructions and in a lamp holder made of metal and gets ventilated. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 April 2020* As described. Have used one of these before, perfect for my needs and requirements which aren't related to reptiles! My parcel was only slightly delayed due to Corona disruption. However seller communication was faultless when I contacted them. Would recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ UV curing *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 15 November 2019* I did trials for UV curing and results are encouraging. However I only used it for a few samples and it is too early to comment on the life time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 November 2018* I love these bulbs so much, they are totally fierce and a little dangerous but they do exactly what they are rated to do just beware and take care of your skin around them! ## Frequently Bought Together - Osram p10650009 Ultra Vitalx Technical UV Lamp, E27 Base, 300 Watts - Philips IR 250R R125 E27 Infrared Heat Bulb, 250 Watt - GIMA 28654 Bulb, for Infrared Therapy Lamp, 250W --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/58747299-ultra-vitalx-technical-uv-lamp-300w-e27](https://www.desertcart.us/products/58747299-ultra-vitalx-technical-uv-lamp-300w-e27) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
