Unfortunately the first time we used it the rope frayed. We replaced the rope with a higher quality sailing rope which we have routed over the pulleys without using the locking mechanism. We have fixed a more robust cleat to the garage wall and use this instead of the locking mechanism. The light weight cleat provided is used to hold the spare rope. We are also using a short bunge to connect one of the pulleys to the handlebars because the fitting provided is not big enough to attach to the handlebars securely.
